ABOUT
Two decades in law. A different perspective.
I've spent most of my professional life in law.
I was admitted as a lawyer in 2007 and worked in Auckland and London before returning to Christchurch in 2013. I became a partner in 2016.
My practice focused on resource management, environmental and local government law, alongside the broader responsibilities that come with being a partner and leader.
It was a career I valued deeply. It challenged me, gave me opportunities I wouldn't otherwise have had, and introduced me to some exceptional people.
Leaving partnership gave me the opportunity to think differently about how I wanted to use the experience I'd built, and about the parts of professional life I find most interesting.
I've always been interested in the thinking behind the decisions people make, particularly when there isn't an obvious answer.
The conversations I've valued most in my own career have been the ones where someone asked a question I hadn't considered, challenged an assumption, or simply gave me the space to work something through properly.
Those conversations often changed how I saw a situation.
That's what I want to offer through coaching.
A different perspective. An honest conversation. A place to think.
I hold a LLB (Hons) and BSc. I am a member of the International Coaching Federation.
